Hi Cami,
I have been a member and user of the OpTecs and VoiceCafé software from the start. With a global base I really would be lost without these rooms. It is by far the best of any Communication live software anywhere online.
The retail prices are excellent and even better at members prices. The option to make money selling retail is excellent. The service is up around 99% of the time and when it goes down we realize how crucial
it is to our businesses. Our group, family and friends, and prospects greatly thank
you for providing this service with all its stability and enhancements. I feel when
everything is in place this will be the most wanted and used audio/video conferencing
Tool on the net. The marketing possibilities are endless. This truly is a product for
anyone and everyone online wanting and willing to communicate in a live format.
Thanx,
Dewey Dusk

Hi Cami,
My downline are really getting fired up. I think the new VideoMaster5 was just
what everyone was waiting for. I am doing a presentation at the Gold
Coast Broadband expo
today and tomorrow so that should drum up some business as well.
Otherwise not much else, except I absolutely love all the incentives you
are coming out with and really do appreciate my video in my
Premium SalesMaster room.
Have a great day,
Karen Isitt

Dear VoiceCafé
Thanks for your very detailed response from the support guys - that's the BEST response I've
EVER seen from a tech team since 1996... excellent!
(I'm telling you, it's AMAZING how much difference good support has made in my time online. That will
inspire many, many new sales, believe me...)
To hopefully shed some insight, here's my further responses to the points raised in the last email:
1. The majority of crashes, it appears, seem to happen when the follow-me browser is used. It
crashed for me when Frank loaded a new URL into the browser. Note that *both* of our user names
were check-marked (i.e. both of us were set to "lead" websites to others). I wonder if that somehow
created a feedback loop where Frank lead the site, and it consequently loaded on mine, which was then
broadcast to others, etc? Maybe that crashed it?
I can't speak for others, but some user names seemed to drop off the list whenever that feature
was used, so I'm suspecting that's one of the most probable causes. The whiteboard seemed stable
for me - I was in there for about an hour without any problems using it (in fact, we had one member
in there who just couldn't stop doodling!)
2. Thanks for the explanation on the broadcasting limitations of the DLL. I did notice a slight "flicker"
refresh rate when someone new joined, so I guess that could be one of the reasons for sound cutting
out. My only argument there, however, is that some of the people cutting out were on very fast connections
(DSL or above), whereas the sound worked fine for me and I'm only on a 64k ISDN line -- so I don't know
if it was "bandwidth" they were being starved of.
3. Thanks for the explanation of Win98 resource management - I only brought this point up because
it seemed to concern some people. I recommended to the users in the room that they upgrade to XP for
maximum stability. Also, I think there's a Javascript warning box that pops up when a user doesn't have
IE 6 or above, so I think everyone in the room did have and so should have had the support pack fixes
installed by default.
Most often than not, the glitches were probably due to inadequate system configs/resources -- the biggest
point of concern at the moment is the crashing. I'm running XP with all security updates along with IE 6
and 1GB of RAM on a 2.4ghz machine -- with no other programs/windows open and it still managed to crash.
I will let you know how the DLL patch works out (we're running another chat this Friday), and will patch my
feedback over to you.
Thanks VERY much for such an excellent response!
All the best,
Lee.

Denmark: Live events on the Internet
The Sorring-Reersoe-Copenhagen Intercity TeleConference - the first Public Virtual Intercity Meeting ever held in Denmark.
The idea was to demonstrate how people, no matter where they reside, have easy online access to interesting real-time meetings, e-learning and collaboration. Thanks to newly introduced voice & video real-time conferencing facilities, available on a user-friendly and versatile low cost Internet conference platform.
The web-based 100 seat virtual conference room was organized by Reersoe ICT Club, in collaboration with Cyberling eMeetingService and Opportunity Technologies, an internationally leading Internet Conferencing Developer and Provider, located in New Zealand.
The OpTecs VoiceCafé system was chosen because it provides superior technology at an affordable price. The system doesn't need an extra phone line, no investment in additional hardware is required, and there are no hidden costs associated with hosting and infrastructure.
During the opening speech, broadcast in full motion video, a webcam alternately scanned herself and the audience gathered in the VoiceCafé.
Inger Drengsgaard: "Thank you here from Sorring, where a dozen persons were seated, in front of a big video screen. This evening has shown that there is fertile soil for a continued work with this type of arrangement!"

I just thought I would let you know that our test trials with 38 of the states went off without
a hitch on Monday. They were extremely impressed with your product that, together with other classroom
tools we offer, creates a great interactive training ground for trainers and instructors. It may be
that a large number of states will now be utilizing our classrooms.
This would not have been possible without the help of OpTecs. Thank you.

Hi Gary,
I just wanted to let you know I did a price comparison with our main Telecomunication carrier here in
Australia. The meeting we had the other day for an hour in the TourMaster
with people in 4 different Countries was GREAT! So Great that we have some
very excited members. Anyway I called Telstra to get a cost on how much to
have a Telephone conference with people in 4 Countries of course 1
included Australia and their price is $2.53 per minute per person. This is
simply for talking over the telephone so for the 4 people in 4 Coutries it
would cost $10.12 per minute. For an hour $607.20.
Gary that was a
price for JUST a telephone conference with 4 people. We can do that with a
VoiceMaster and even better with a TourMaster and page push and whiteboard
at the same time not to mention video and for a fraction of the cost for a
whole day and MONTH 24x7. Anyone would be crazy to continue with a
telephone conference after seeing and using our VoiceCafe
rooms.
This simply proves more of the position and power OpTecs and
VoiceCafe have and where we are all going with it.

Hello VoiceCafé,
Thank you for forwarding the help request.
David, I want to thank you, Paul Coffey and the VoiceCafé staff for providing
attentive support for my ClassMaster room. Without question, I am pleased
with my decision to use ClassMaster for my web site.
I spent two months searching the Internet for multimedia chat room solutions
before deciding on the ClassMaster. I actually set up chat rooms for my
web site with both yahoo and PalTalk before bailing out. My clients did
not like the idea of going to another web site, creating and account and
then hopefully finding my chat room.
With my ClassMaster I
have a dedicated URL and my clients never leave my web site. At least that
is how it appears to my clients. I simply created a two-page frame having
a narrow page header and page body. The page header is within my web site
and the page body is the ClassMaster URL.
My clients are amazed with the "page push" capability of the ClassMaster. A
man can hear a woman's voice in Russia or Ukraine and I can push pictures
of her within the chat room. It creates a wonderful personal connection
between the man and woman. My clients also comment about the great voice
quality. Yahoo was like talking through two tin can's connected by
string.
Keep up the good work and keep me informed of future
enhancements.
Regards,
Weston Rogers

Dear OpTecs,
Thank you for you support and dedication. Since the
room was rebuilt there have been NO problems. No more hackers have
joined and my Saturday event was a success.
It is dedication
such as what you have shown me this weekend that keeps me as a humble
customer of OpTecs.

Hi OpTecs,
I just wanted to say I really like my Premium Voice Page,
my family and I use it often, we all can get together and chew the fat. I
also use my voice chat room to talk to suppliers and customers, you see I
sell floor coverings and since I have my Premium Voice Room, I let my
suppliers know about it, since some of these folks are import/export types
these voice rooms are a useful tool. As for my customers it is just a fun
way to set appointments or to discuss details of their particular
needs.
Being an OpTecs Founder, I use my Premium Voice Page to
share the OpTecs products, services and Opportunity. OpTecs has provided
us with exceptional tools. I have used all of our many VoiceCafé and
VideoCafé products they are the
best! YEEEHHHHAAAA!
